Time for a change

Hello!! I am a 31 year old that is just tired of struggling with my weight, tired of being unhealthy and tired of being tired! Im a New yorker that transplanted down to Raleigh in 2007...
I stopped smoking cigerettes on January 11, 2010, I dont call myself a quitter yet, but hope one day I can look back at that date and smile, enjoying how it feels to have finally kicked the habit.

I've struggled with my weight my whole life, only getting down to my skinniest in college, when I barely ate, didnt have a car, and experemented alot with drugs.
At 23 I had my first (& only) child, and have just struggled struggled struggled with my weight since then. After giving birth I was at 218 lbs, eventually going down to 180 after about 6 months. It took me almost a year to get down to 145, and then I started a prescription anti-depressant, and my weight sky rocketed back up to 193. I began seeing a weight loss specialist, and after 6 months got down to 153, but waivered between 153 and 160. I stayed there for a long time, but 5 months ago began to watch the scale go up... no matter what I tried, i quickly lost motivation, and now I am here at 183 lbs...

Ultimately my goal is to begin to incorporate more exercise now that I can breathe again! I also need to kick the sugar habit! I am looking for support for my fellow online spark friends!!!

Hope is one of the greatest things about living, maybe even the best thing about life. When you have hope, you still have a chance; and a chance is all you ever really need. Through hope and faith, any and all things are indeed possible.

Keeping the faith is not always easy. In fact, it can sometimes seem like an impossible task. With life's pressures mounting and your world caving in around you, it's easy to lose hope. The truest test of your mettle comes during life's most trying times.

At those very moments when it seems like all hope is lost, you must tenaciously cling to your faith with unswerving commitment. Hold on to your faith - and it will pull you through.

Infinite hope can help you see the invisible, feel the intangible and ultimately achieve what you once considered impossible. With infinite hope, there are no longer any barriers to what you can accomplish. With infinite hope, there's nothing on earth that can hold you back or hold you down. With infinite hope, you can turn your fondest dreams into reality - right here and right now.

You must never give up your dreams and never, ever lose hope that you can make them come true.

I believe in you! I have faith in you and I KNOW - you can achieve anything!

~ Becca
