Hi everyone! My name is Lori. I am 34 years old and have been happily married for almost 15 years. I have two wonderful little boys. C is 11 and J is 4. I lost almost 60 pounds in 2011 and I gained it all back, plus around 40 more. I now have a goal of losing 100 pounds by 6/1/14.

Nice seeing you again. I did the same thing back in summer 2011. I gained back 60 lbs, and started 2012 at 280 lbs, with gout. The good thing is, you know what works, and can do it again, even if it sucks, until you lose new weight.

This time, you just need to figure out how to transition to a maintenance level when you lose the weight. I am actually upping calories, and carbs some, as I get within 35 lbs of goal weight. Weight loss, is actually easier than trying to make adjustments. If you are wrong you gain, or trigger cravings, but staying at weight loss levels isn't the answer, even if it is easier. What happens then, is you are at goal weight, and just switch off your diet, to what you were doing before.

I feel like I am cramming for finals after years of eating the same foods. I am even going to try eggplant this week, if I can get one. Looking for more variety in my veggies, and hoping by the time I hit 161, I have made the transition.

I will definitely need your tips and tricks to get the baby to sleep. I am such a newb when it comes to newborns, and infants.
