A new month New Things happening

Now that 2,011 has begun..I am trying to do the best I can in life. Last year is gone and a new year is here. My weight is hovering but trying to lose. Medication sometimes takes over I think, but it is also the water retention. I need to watch what I am eating. Processed foods is not good for anyone, but sometimes one just feels like it. I like pizza, but try to refrain. Life goes on...making it the best I can. I go to the DR when I have to. PS I don't buy the WW frozen foods...I used to. It ...

My Goals:
My goal is to cut back on eating certain foods that contribute to my weight gain.
I want to work out more. I have a tread mill at home and want to use it more often. I enjoy waking, too. In the spring it is a nice way to get the work out done outside. I also enjoy walking to the library and back. I have 2 I can walk to so it is great for me.
I want to drink more water and have been cutting back on my soda. It is not good for the bones. I also need to eat more veggies and fruit. I am trying.

My Program:
Just try to do the best I can. That is all one can do.

Other Information:
Take it one day at a time. It is not always easy, but it can and will be done.
The sails on the ship will pull you through. Never give up as you are the captain of your ship. Like the ocean waves, sometimes they are weak, but they, too, get strong.

I've been a member a little over 3 years. I made fantastic progress and lost 100 pounds in the first year BUT I became careless about nutrition and exercise and have gained a lot of the pounds back! I became disgusted with myself and closed my Spark account, but soon realized I NEEDED to be here. I'm back using the nutrition and exercise trackers now - they are so important. The sense of community and the friendships I have made here keep me going!

With small words of encouragement, with just a little extra time, that someone could be you. In some cases, others may just be unaware of their true abilities and potential.
