My journey with food and weight has been very up and down over the years. As a kid I was really stupidly skinny and used to be able to eat loads of junk food like donuts and crisps, never exercise and I was still a rake. As i got to my late teens I guess I was more of a normal healthy steady weight altho used to eat alot of junk and wasnt majorly into an exercise regime.

When i was twenty i decided i wanted to loose some weight and it became an obsession and I developed anorexia ...

When i was twenty i decided i wanted to loose some weight and it became an obsession and I developed anorexia nervosa and later bulimia nervosa. Since then it has been a challenge to maintain a healthy bmi and all the related challenges of thoughts that havin eating difficulties brings. I am currently at a bmi of 20-21 and exercising roughly 4 times a week.

I joined spark people to help me learn more about a healthy diet and develop a healthy long term diet and exercise approach to banish the evil anorexic tendencies for good!!!

My Goals:
*Overcome guilt about eating pleasurable foods
*Give myself food treats
* Maintain my weight
*Be nicer to myself
*Make sure I eat enough protein
*Eat more foods high in iron to overcome anaemia

My Program:
Usually run about 3-4 times a week, for around 30 minutes. Have let my gym membership lapse due to finances so have not done any strength training in a while!!

Just started back doing yoga
