My current trophy!
I am 33, I live in North Attleboro MA. I want to lose weight to be healthier and to feel better about myself.
Some words of encouragement from friends and family for all the times I will need them-
"I'm proud of you! You keep up the good work cuz yer worth it damn it!
Love you MTC,
You know, rarely is a path a straight line. There are always going to be twists and turns and hills and valleys, but you're still moving forward each day, growing and learning. It's all about the journey, dear one. One day at a time, and know you are loved.
You are a wonderful and beautiful person with lots of strength. And that strength will help you accomplish the things you want to accomplish. Sometimes when we strive for a goal we find some minor setbacks. But the important thing is not to let those setbacks keep you from reaching that goal. Instead use them to propel you forward. Accept yourself and your occasional slacking and know that while the path isn't always smooth, it's the bumps that make the journey worthwhile. And when you do reach that goal you'll know that you really did accomplish something big for yourself and you'll be so proud of yourself. I know you can do it, Dawn. Hang in there, beautiful.
HEY! What are you doing? You know you want to lose those lbs. So get to it. Stop slacking off.
Don't get discouraged, just get back to it asap and don't worry about a back step or two. Move on. You can do it.
Does that help? I mean it, so I hope so.
You are the best.
The very best.
The very very very best.
And I love you and I think about you all the time.
And just think about how great you are going to feel when you reach your goal.
I am proud of you for sticking with this. You are such a strong person, I know you can do it.
I love you more than low-fat lactose free cheese.
Ever so proud of you, Dawn! You are awesome, a blessing.
You can shop where ever you want and wear the clothes you always wanted to wear. You can get around a lot easier without the extra weight,; even breathe a lot easier, and best of all, you can get rid of a hang up and feel good about yourself. You can restore self esteem.
You're young and you're beautiful and deserve to be happy and look in a mirror and like what you see.
We love you and we'll be your support if you ever need us to be.
Good luck with the diet and let us know if there's anything we can do to help.
Make sure and keep us posted on your weight loss so we can celebrate your victory too! We're rooting for you.

WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have RELEASED seven pounds of baggage, my darling. We, all of us, tend to store our emotional "stuff" in our bodies, and can carry around old hurts and resentments and anger for years or a lifetime. And it's complicated, I know, this cycle of self-soothing with food ( I do it alot) or other substances and suppressing stuff and carrying it around. May you see your seven pound weight loss as a release or surrender of old crap that you no longer need to carry. Yay! Giving yourself a gift of lightening your emotional load. PROUD of you.
You know that I think you are beautiful in any size or shape body. You know you ARE beautiful in a way that will never be dulled because it comes from within.
1. feel better about myself
2. be healthier
3. get rid of my CPAP machine (assuming the apnea is caused by my weight and not the deviated septum, the doc is not sure)
4. have more energy
1. TONS of Spark-time :)
2. Eat better. I am kicking butt on this one!!
3. Water, Crystal Light, water, water, sugar-free soda, and water :)
4. Exercise. A little more difficult to get all the exercise I want/need due to recovering from a broken ankle, but I am getting more and more :)
4. Lots and lots of support and positive reinforcement from friends, family, and SparkPeople.
5. Believing I can do it and that I deserve it!!!!
I live in North Attleboro, MA. Its right on the border of RI. I moved here last April and it is a great town! I am very happy here.
I like to paint, woodburn, crochet, decoupage, make blown egg ornaments, movies, TV, animals, walking at Audubon sanctuaries, hanging with friends, eating, cooking, exploring, random road trips, traveling (even though I dont get to do it often), making new friends, trying new things...
