Choosing something new

After an accident crushed my knee three years ago I put on forty pounds in six months from suddenly becoming inactive, before stabilising there for the last two and a half years. Three operations later I want to be back to my normal weight before operation four (hopefully the last) in the autumn. I'm still on crutches so my exercise will be sitting or lying down, an interesting challenge.

Christmas gift suggestions: To your enemy, forgiveness. To an opponent, tolerance. To a friend, your heart. To a customer, service. To all, charity. To every child, a good example. To yourself, respect.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with blessings!

Thanksgiving – All In A Word

Author: Unknown

T for time to be together
Turkey, talk and tangy weather.
H for harvest stored away
Home, and hearth and holiday.
A for autumn’s frosty art,
And abundance in the heart.
N for neighbors and November,
Nice things, new things to remember.
K for kitchen, kettle’s croon.
Kith and kin expected soon.
S for sizzles, sights and sounds,
And something special that abounds.
That spells THANKS – for joy in living
And a jolly good Thanksgiving!

Just a line to keep in touch
Because you are on my mind so much
And even though, I’ve nothing to say
You’ll know I thought of you today!

Have a Sparkly day!!!

"At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us." (Albert Schweitzer)

Thank you for being my SparkPal and experiencing this adventure with me. You support means more to me than you'll ever know.
