Been living large for way too long. I keep looking for the magic plan that will take this weight off but there is no magic. I just need to eat less and move more....easier said then done!

I am a FOOD addict! I just plain and simply love it all!! And the more I like it, the more I want to eat it. So portion control is HUGE for me. I just eat and eat and eat ... even when I know it's not good for me! It's like I just can't override those feelings of intense longing for more ...

Evenings are the worst ... mornings are generally ok until about 11 or noon and then look out...the hungry/munchie monster shows up! If I am stressed or angry...Wow!!! Then I get the Super Powered monster!!

Does anyone else have to deal with this?!! I Hate being like this and it is almost as if someone else is controlling my urges to eat!

Let me know if this describes you ... I need soul mates to help me do this! No one else around me really knows how awful this is for me. I feel like I have an eating disorder that is the opposite of "anorexia".

I know all about healthy eating and I could probably write books on nutrition and weightloss. It's the follow through that I have trouble with ... the staying committed to healthy choices. I always slip back to my old eating habits and then I gain back what ever I worked so hard to lose.

ok .... that's enough for now. Sorry about all the whining! I actually am a pretty happy person for the most part. But would be even happier if I weighed about 150 lbs less!! *Grin*

WeightWatcher points (loosely - need to get better about journaling my food intake). Have since added Alli which works IF I remember to take it and I have also started using Hoodia ... jury is still out on that one.

LOVE TO EAT emoticon CAN'T STOP WHEN FULL emoticon You describe me to a T! Therefore, I have found the only way I avoid that is not having the things that cause this, in the house.... And to only eat my indulgences when I'm out and I'm too embarrassed to eat large quantities in front of others.. emoticon

I'm originally from IA, then MN and food get togethers are everywhere and for every reason... So yes, I'm the "same" I'm a glutton, too emoticon

haha, I just read the comment below about the BED disorder.. Who knew, here I thought it was just gluttony emoticon
