Hey there! Sounds like things are going well! Jack didn't gain much at his first check-up, either, but now that he's a pro at nursing he's really gaining. At his 2 mo check up he was 12 lbs and 24" - I've tried weighing him here at home and I'm pretty sure he's pushing 14 lbs. now, but I don't know how accurate our scale is compared to the doc's. All I know for sure is that when we went for a walk yesterday he got REALLY heavy in the carrier after a couple of miles. :)

I didn't have a job down here, so I don't have one to go back to. :) I was looking, but then once my husband got word that his company would be moving everyone to their HQs in northern OH I stopped looking down here. I'm hoping to stay home for a while, though. How about you?

Jack's doing well, except we've hit a sleeping snag lately. He was doing so well - sleeping through the night, but then this past Thursday night it was like he snapped and has been devil baby every night since. Ha! Thursday night he didn't finally fall asleep until 1:30, Friday night it was 12:30 and last night it was just about midnight. He did sleep in until 9:30 this morning, but I think that's just showing us that he's overly tired. So we've tried putting him to bed earlier, but I still think we need to get his nap schedule down better. I've started reading "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child" and it seems that I've been cutting his naps short, like waking him up after an hour and a half - thinking that it would help him sleep better at night, but that's the exact opposite of what I should be doing. So tomorrow I'm going to let him sleep more and see if that helps. *fingers crossed*

Well I'd better scoot. Glad to see you on here again! I've gotten off to a slow start (mainly b/c I can't get the motivation or time to workout as much as I used to) but I'll get there. :)

Hiya! I'm guessing you are in baby-world right now. It's a crazy couple of months getting used to it all. I hope yu are doing well and enjoying all of this. We miss you on the 5 Pounders.
A girl on the Road Runners team just started a brand new team though, and I thought I'd share the link with you- it's the Preggo Pounders team to shed post-baby weight. She's due in January and a really great person and great motivator.
Take care, Merry Christmas, and come tell us how you are doing!!!!
