Thanks for reporting back on the HRM. I really should try mine out, but the truth is that I barely use my Garmin - only for longer races most of the time. It is a Forerunner 305 that I got used off of Amazon for $110. 1378 days ago
I'm using the same calorie range as you ... and when I track, I tend to stay at the low end. Just put in my Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie for breakfast, and see that it is over 500 ... but lunch will be an apple and a 90 calorie granola bar, so I'll be OK. The smoothie is REALLY filling, so I may cut down on quantity next time. Let's keep each other accountable!! This morning I saw the lowest number on the scale in a while, but it's still 3-4 above where it should be. And I can tell by the roll around my waist! Gotta get it off!! 1393 days ago
I started tracking food again this morning ... am just NOT getting the extra pounds off. UGH. Hate to admit I did well for YEARS and then slipped backwards ... but 'tis true.
I'm NOT excited about another cold/snowy snap -- hope it is VERY short-lived. Rain would be OK. But a walk at lunch today sounds wise. I didn't get any intentional fitness minutes in the last 3 days with the grandkids here.
Have a great week! How much do you think you need to adjust your calorie range? You are SO close to goal!! 1394 days ago
