December 2010 - Hiding behind my kids. Not even close to where I was just 18 months prior.

Here I am at goal weight in Feb. 2009.

April 2010 - Yeah, I was huge.

I have 8 pics in my gallery

Since joining SparkPeople on August 18, 2008 - 2+ years after giving birth to my daughter, I lost a lot of weight and really got myself onto a productive fit track where I was definitely seeing the results. Everyone commented on how great I looked and then, bam - I got pregnant again.

3 weeks after Thing 2 was born (April 2010), I got really motivated and started my former fitness routine again. It lasted only a few weeks - I found it really difficult to remain disciplined while on maternity leave. This total loss of motivation lasted through the holidays. So, I opted to just enjoy myself and restore discipline after the first of the year.

So here I am - 30 pounds away from my goal weight.
...And here I go.

My Goals:
Drop 30 pounds by the end of the year.
Get into a healthy eating routine (make better food choices and get nutritional balance).
Implement a home fitness program that will bring results.

My Program:
I measure out everything that I eat. If it doesn't have a nutrition label, I typically don't want to risk eating it (unless it's fruit or something I know is "safe"). Every night, I log my food and fitness for the following day. Though I may make small changes over the course of the day, logging ahead of time really helps me stay on track.
I allow myself one "free" day per week - but I still log the calories so that I don't go too crazy.
