Hi! My name is Melody.
I suffer from fibromyalgia/ arthritis. I have learned that eating well, and exercising is the best way to prevent symptoms from this disease.
Then, I developed a host of new symptoms. I had horrible sensitivity to cold, depression, dry itchy skin, my hair started falling out, and I wanted to sleep all day. I had no energy. I am doing The Biggest Loser workouts, zumba, insanity, 30 day shred, tae-bo, running, cycling,
I am following the sparkpeople program. I count calories and use the things that work for me that I have learned from other diet programs that I have tried. I also work out for an hour 5 days a week. My favorite workouts are Zumba, running, taebo, exercise ball workouts, strength training, cycling, and running. I am currently training -slowly- for a 5K.
I read everything I can get my hands on.
My favorite movies are romantic comedies.

I just read a comment you left on someone else's blog and had to check out your page. I have fibro, too, and I also "lean into the sharp points" and accept the pain for what it is without letting it stop me.

Do you have the The Park Book? REad Chapter 7, great motivation advice also check website under motivation! You've come this far don't stop now!
Stop take a deep breath and just breathe, relax focus on today, just today.
I've started assessing how the my day went and reassess what I will do differently tomorrow.
