Hi! My name is Melody. I suffer from fibromyalgia/ arthritis. I have learned that eating well, and exercising is the best way to prevent symptoms from this disease. Then, I developed a host of new symptoms. I had horrible sensitivity to cold, depression, dry itchy skin, my hair started falling out, and I wanted to sleep all day. I had no energy. I barely could make it through the day. I was put on anti-depressants. I went back and forth to the doctor believing the entire time my fibro had worsened. This went on for the last 3 years. Then back this past Spring I was in chiropractors office and was reading an article about Hypothyroidism. My niece had recently been diagnosed and was interested to know more. When I got to the list of symptoms it was like the Heavens opened and the angels sang. I had 14 of the 16 symptoms! I went to the doctor and was officially diagnosed. With the help of my thyroid medication I began to feel a little bit better. Then I stumbled upon Plexus. Plexus is an all natural line of supplements created to make you feel better. It''s not a diet but a system to make y you healthier. I started on something called the triplex combo. It''s the Slim drink, the biocleanse, and the Probio5 (a probiotic). This product changed my life. I have energy, I sleep better, and I feel amazing! Now I am going to start working out again, and get back to being me! I am a mother to four great kids. The wife to my soulmate. I have a lot of weight to lose and I am determined to get healthy and back into shape!

    Thanks for the encouragement!
I never thought I'd be able to run, but here I am doing it! And having somebody congratulate me just makes me want to do it even more.

I hope your recovery goes well and that there aren't any lasting effects! It makes me happy to hear you recommend the C25k ! If it worked for you well enough to recommend it, then it makes me feel better about doing it myself. And I really hope you can get back to it soon, too :)

An aging man lived alone in Ireland. His only son was in Long Kesh Prison, and he didn't know anyone who would spade up his potato garden. The old man wrote to his son about it, and received this reply, "For HEAVENS SAKE, don't dig up that garden, that's where I buried the GUNS!!!!!"

At 4 A.M. the next morning, a dozen British soldiers showed up and dug up the entire garden, but didn't find any guns. Confused, the man wrote to his son telling him what happened and asking him what to do next.

His son's reply was: "Just plant your potatoes."

    Hi Melody -
I just read a comment you left on someone else's blog and had to check out your page. I have fibro, too, and I also "lean into the sharp points" and accept the pain for what it is without letting it stop me.
I love your goals - keep up the great work!
