Okay I have been a member of SP for almost a year now. I lost 15lbs from Feb-May. Then these past 7 months I laid low. It's a new year and a new beginning for me. A friend and are doing motivational weight loss as our new years resolution. I did it before so I know I can do it again! It's great to be back! I look forward to a successful year where my year goal is to lose 30lbs. I know it's very possible but this time, I am taking everything one step at a time. Instead of pushing for the 30 I am pushing for weekly goals and using the encouragement from my best friend as my secret weapon this time around. None of our friend family or even boyfriends know we are doing this. I am thrilled to take on this challenge!

My Goals:
-To have people notice my weight loss and compliment me.
-To look at myself in a mirror and smile with my results
-To buy my new bikini this summer and feel hot wearing it. (pic on the left)
-To motivate my best friend and to keep up this New Years Resolution together, NO QUITTERS!!
-To be positive no matter what. (Ex: no weight loss, no inches lost, etc.)


My Program:
What I am doing for my program is counting calories and fitness everyday. My calorie range is between 1300 and 1600. My finess goal per day is around 430 calories. My best friend and I will be at the gym together 3x-5x per week. We both need to workout at least 5x a week. I am also trying my best to drink 8 cups of water a day.

Personal Information:
My name is Lauren. I am from Brookfield IL. I am a senior fromIllinois State University in Bloomington IL. But currently, I am student teaching in Little Village, Chicago. My major is Elementary Education and I hope to teach anywhere from 3rd-5th grade. I am looking forward to graduating in May!!!I love to spend time with my amazing boyfriend but I also love to go party with my friends. I have a big family. My parents, 3 brother and 3 sisters. Let's just say my house is a zoo! I am addicted to facebook and my cell phone. I hope Spark becomes my new addiction ; )

Hi! Great job so far!
I LOVE that swimsuit you have posted.. actually almost bought that rose sequin one (is that the one Reese Witherspoon wore but in blue in Legally Blonde???... I swear it looks the same!).
Aaaanyway, I figured you might want to know about a V.S. special I came across a few days ago - if you go to the bottom of my March 2nd blog, there's a Beach Sexy $6.35 bikini set directions. I've never seen a better deal on Victoria's Secret. It's great motivation to really work hard while you're waiting for it to be shipped....!

That's great that you made a weight/ inch loss chart! I have a few different ideas for the fitness chart. Either track by minutes or days, but then I guess you could track calories burnt, too. I was thinking like a calendar that you put a star up for each day that you workout and once you reach, say, 20 days, you get a reward. Draw or post a pic of the reward to remind you what you're working for. Something like that. When I get it up and running, I'll let you know!

I'm glad you liked my weight loss chart! It's funny how motivating putting up a little sticker can be! I really need to make a fitness one, too. With designated rewards at the end of certain points. I'll let you know when I finish that one! You can totally drop 30 pounds this year!! I dropped 30 in 6 1/2 months. The best part, when you take it slow you keep it off! So, don't get discouraged!! I'm here for you! Let me know how I can help!
