UPDATE: Ive meet my first long term goal, which was to lose 100 POUNDS! I surpassed that and have lost about 110 POUNDS!! I feel like myself again, that is what I wanted out of all this!! Check out the today show on Monday, Sept 15 in the 10-11 segment, I will be inducted into the Joy Fit Club for people who have lost over 100 pounds on their own, no surgery. Thanks to sparkpeople for helping me stay on track and reach my goals. Like too may people, I let the college ...

Too many high calorie and high fat foods, not to mention way too much alcohol. Ive recently completed my masters in Speech Pathology and decided it was time to make a drastic lifestyle change. Im tired of not being able to be myslef for fear of my weight. I just want to feel comfortable and confident in my own skin! I started watching my diet and working out in January and have since lost around 50 pounds!!! I still have a ways to go, but for the first time in a while I know i can do it!!!

My Goals:
My present short term goal: 195 by Oct. 19th (college homecoming) Long term goal: 100 pounds
My Program:
I do 3-4 60 min cardio workouts a week (elliptical, treadmill, arc trainer) and have programmed a heart rate monitor to my specific heart rate zones (which i gathered from a oxygen tradmill test). I also meet with a personal trainer twice a week to tone and strengthen.

I am from Muncie, IN and have recently moved to Indianpolis for a new job.
