This is the habitual dieters page. If you've been there...and done that... then this page is for YOU!!

I am a 44 year old, divorced mother of 3 and grandmother to 1. I have tried just about every diet plan and have signed up for just about every diet program that has ever existed. I do not remember a time that I WASN'T on a diet or preparing to go on a diet in the last 25 years. If I was to add up the amount of money I have spent on diet programs and gimmicks over the years I could probably buy a pretty nice car. Arrrrrrrgggg!!

But, the bottom line is... None of them have worked for the long haul. I always find myself back here...needing to lose 20 or 30 pounds. Not good for my health and not good for me.

Time for the madness to end!! So, this time I am doing this on a website that offers healthy plans, healthy articles, support and tracking options and isn't costing me a cent. I am going into this as a lifestyle, not a diet and I am committed to tracking each and every day no matter if it's a good day or a bad day. No starting over on Monday - each day is A day in my life, in my habits and I make the choice of what I eat and the activity I participate in.

Time to make some good choices for me.

My Goals:
To redefine HEALTHY in my life.

To quit looking at a diet as a period of change and then I can be done.

To change my mindset of what is "GOOD FOOD".

To inspire myself and others along the way!


My Program:
I am focusing on eating higher protein, healthy carbs and a calorie consumption within 1200 - 1500 per day.

Activity/working out daily; whether it's a two hour gym workout or a 30 min walk...I want to do something every day.

Cutting back on the adult beverages. They sabatoge my efforts and should be used for special occasions; and that doesn't mean TGIF! :)
