Small steps, great health

I lost 20 lbs. And then I gained 11 back. And that's only this past year. I've gotten too thin, too fat and everything inbetween. And I want it to stop. My goal is not to lose weight just to lose weight, but to get fit and remain that way. I want to lose a bit of weight so I'm in the healthy category, but I'm not focusing on thinness. I want my 40s to be the decade where I accept myself, love myself and no longer worry about what anyone else thinks of me. This is my decade where I will ...

My Goals:
My goals:

1. Eat appropriate portion sizes. That means not as much as my husband.

2. Exercise in any way possible at least 5x a week...that will include walking to work, going up stairs instead of elevators, coaching, running, playing sport. Just get that body moving.

3. Get into the healthy category of weight. I'm close, but I want to be right smack dab in the middle & remain there for life.

4. Work on my self-image and feel good about 40-something me!

My Program:
I play field hockey for 9 months out of the year as a goalie - which is a workout during trainings, but not so much during games...will have to workout on game days. I want to start using my wii more and perhaps begin the c25k program again. I will walk more!

Personal Information:
I'm a Londoner, though not from the UK. I have been here for years and am a citizen, and feel like this is my home now. Go team England!
