I am a 25 year old mother of 2. My daughter is 3 and my son is 5 months old. I decided that I finally needed to take control of my life and weight, so I googled a calorie counter and found this website. It has been amazing. I have lost almost 30 lbs in the last 2 months since I started. People are complimenting me all the time and I couldn't feel better about myself. I love this website it is very motivating and I find so much help with the recipes it has on here.

Thanks for the advice. 50 lbs in a few months is fantastic! I am trying to keep my calories at or under 1200 while watching my sodium/fat/water intakes. I am only 5' and don't have a very physically active job (unfortunately I sit at a desk most the day) so luckily I have not felt the effects of having less "fuel" like some of my dieting friends have. I have been working on gradually increasing my walking/jogging routine and I'm really happy to read about people who have reached their weight goals in a healthy, sensible way.
