Hi! I'm trying to lose weight after five years in a wheelchair and being told I'd never walk again. I have lost some, but I run into nasty plateaus, and I need ways to get past them. My Goals:
I want to lose the weight I put on during my years in a wheelchair. I can't exercise a lot, so I have to find other ways. I want to lose at least three pounds a week.

My Program:
Hard to have one with my new back issues. I'll do what I can.

Personal Information:
I live in Washington State on an island. I have been married to one man for 27 years. I have a beautiful daughter and and even more beautiful granddaughter. I have a wonderful Boston Terrier, and I love sunny days.

Other Information:
I read every day, sometimes all day.

I just wanted to post a quick Welcome to the Chair Exercise TEAM. We're so glad to have you join us. Please jump in and have a good time getting healthy. This is an excited group of folks and really active team so you should be able to find all sorts of inspiration and motivation. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. There's always someone willing to help in any way possible. Don't forget to use the food/water tracker that spark people provides as well as the fitness tracker. These are excellent resources that will help keep you on the path you've chosen. Come on... let's get healthy TOGETHER!!! Together WE can do anything! Welcome to The Chair Exercise Team!!!
We are an active and friendly team and love our exercise .. we not only cater for disabilities, a lot of our members just love the chair exercise and the camaraderie of this team.
We are here to help you to realise your dream of fitness and health dispite disabilities, in fact we encourage Exercise of some sort or another.
We also encourage our members to look after their Nutrition.
This is most important, as it is hard enough being disabled in some way let alone not eating well and feeling good.
We have several challenges going on and heaps of fun thing to do!
feel free to join in .. and start your journey with us to fitness and health.
If you need help please ask us .... There is always someone ready to steer you in the right direction
