I am 29 years old, I live in Stillwater with my husband and 2.5 year old daughter. I gained about 80 pounds while I was pregnant and after 2.5 years I haven't lost much of it. I think it's time to stop using motherhood as an excuse to be overweight. I also was starting to feel like I was addicted to food, I would sneak food and eat before I went to dinner parties so others would believe that I was eating smaller portions. I work at a hospital and my dept is overall filled with healthy athletic people who do a lot of activities together. I have never been invited to these activities because we all know I am not capable of keeping up. I hope to loose at least 50 pounds and do a 5k at the end of the summer.

*It's now 4 months and 30 pounds later and I'm trying to get back on track. Once I hit my easter goal I stopped trying and went back to binge eating. The good news is that it hasn't cost me on the scale. I'm happy with the change and I'm trying to remember that my journey is not complete and I have not changed my habits. I will continue towards my life style change. I also realized that as soon as I stopped using spark people to track my food it all went to pot. So I am back and I will record, even if I over eat. At least then I am accountable.

My Goals:
I want to be athletic again and keep up with my 2 year old daughter. I also hope to get my husband on board with the fitness program.

My Program:
I eat between 1200 and 1600 calories a day and I try to go to the gym every morning. I have to go before my husband goes to work so I am getting up at 4:30am.

Other Information:
I love to read and lately I have been enthralled by TV series. I recently finished Battlestar Galactica and my husband and I are watching Rome now.
