...on the road again, from FAT to thin.
My weight loss journey has been a never ending process. I've tried for years to shed the pounds, but no such luck. After reading an email about my friend's upcoming bachelorette party, I decided that I can't go another year being "The Big Girl". I joined SparkPeople because I'm serious about losing weight, and will do whatever it takes to see myself skinny. Looking forward to connecting with SparkBuddies along the way. **July 31, 2012 UPDATE*** I can't believe that I've not been on SP in almost 9 months. I swear it doesn't feel that long. At any rate, since my last entry I've been quite serious about working out and leading a healthier lifestyle. My passion for running has intensified, and I've fun a total of 12 races so far (including a half-marathon). I've set a goal to qualify for guaranteed entry in the ING NYC Marathon in 2013. My eating habits are alot better, and I'm strength training. I've also started blogging to chronicle this year. So excited to see what this year has in store. **October 2011 UPDATE** I've jumped back on the Healthy Wagon, and I must admit it feels wonderful being back. During my SP absence, I've traveled, visited with friends, and took up running. I even found a group that runs weekly and that kicked my motivation into high gear. So, I'm back to stay. I've got work to do.
