As I reached my first goal (completing a sprint triathlon) and my second goal (running a half marathon) and now my third goal (running a MARATHON!) I figured I should re-introduce as a TRIATHLETE AND A HALF MARATHONER and a FULL MARATHONER!! As I enter into my 30s, my basic goals are to get in shape, feel good about myself and maintain the progress I have made.

I already continued my triathlon run by completing a second tri with my sister, Sarah and my mom, RobbieMarie, in September --- The Mermaid, an all-female sprint in Santa Cruz, CA last September, an indoor tri last April and 2/3 of a Olympic tri in June (they had to cancel the swim portion)!!! My next goal is to bring down my half- PR! I think I can drop 20ish minutes! I'd also like to break my 5K PR....

Although the weight loss is slow.... I'm feeling good and better about myself!!

Goal 1: Finish a triathlon. Check

My Program:
I will work out 5-6 times per week.
I will eat healthy.
I will set goals for myself, such as a triathlon or half marathon to keep me motivated.
I will drink at least 8 cups of water per day.
I will continue to make progress even after I have a bad day.

My name is Liz G. I live in Birmingham, AL. Currently finishing my PhD in clinical child psychology, with two hurdles in the way: 1) dissertation, 2) full time one year clinical internship/residency (currently completing at the Citivan-Sparks Clinic at UA Birmingham!) .
