Well, I don't blame you for going out on the weekends if that's the only time you get to see your boy! I would too. And as long as you're good during the week & know your limitations on the weekend, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. I recommend checking out the menu options and the nutrition facts (if available) before going out. That way you know what will be best for you and you can still enjoy a meal out. :-) But, be careful because although it's a salad, sometimes the calories are higher than the a regular meal... Chili's is notorious for having unhealthy salads! Good luck & don't throw all of your hard work away from the week on the weekend... you can still go out and be good! And besides, the boy may like a surprise home cooked meal by you, too. A night in isn't always a bad thing! :-)

Hi Liz! I saw your post about trying to convince your boyfriend to eat at home more & just wanted to mention that it was/is one of the biggest influences in my weight. When I made the decision to stop going to restaraunts so often, the pounds melted off. Lately I've been going to restaraunts more often and am struggling!!! The calories in the food is astronomical & I have no self control when a huge plate is placed in front of me. At least at home I can control how much I make and serve myself & I'm also making sure I use healthy oils & fats in my cooking. Start off by making dinner for your BF a few times a week... it may change his mind about going to restaraunts... and just think of all of the money you can save by cooking at home!!! :-)

Good luck!!!

I haven't seen you on the boards for awhile - I miss my Texas buddy being there to motivate me to get my butt in gear and do my cardio (trying to be as good as you with that). I hope things are going well and that I hear from you soon!
