I LOVE SPARKPEOPLE.COM!

I'm 32 years old. I have 3 children: 1 son in middle school, 1 son in elementary school and a toddler daughter (whom I'll be homeschooling). I'm happily married to a wonderful man (abiggidy) who is also eating healthy and getting fit. We both drink at least 9 cups of water per day. I get at least an hour of fitness a day, while he gets more. He is very skinny. I'm getting there. We thank Sparkpeople.com for changing our lives.

My Goals:
I would like to lose between 5 and 10 lbs each month.

2012: Lost 40 lbs
2013: Lost 51 lbs
2014: I hope to reach my goal weight.

Rewards:
100 lbs lost: new clothes
Goal weight: more new clothes


My Program:
Get at least an hour of fitness per day.

Make healthier choices as to what I eat and drink, and make sure I eat the right portion sizes.

As I lose more weight, I will add more strengthening/toning exercises. Also, I'll try adding more fitness videos from sparkpeople.com.

Personal Information:
I live in Michigan. I have a page on Facebook called: Baby Steps to a Brand New Me. I have a blog by the same title, but barely update therefore I created the FB page. My name on Facebook is Liz Chagnon Springsteen. I check my facebook every day. Other Information:
I love praise and worship music. I only listen to any kind of Christian music. I read Christian books. I read Christian based self help books, especially Joyce Meyer and Max Lucado books. I love Christian romance books. Love Inspired books are my favorite because they are really easy to read and I can read one and a half a day if I'm not doing anything that day. Not that I've read that much lately...my toddler keeps me on the go!

Oh, Liz ! Thank you !!! for that positive way to look at ST. I know I need to change that mindset but am resisting and do not know why. It really is not hard per se, more boring and I still do not have a set routine for lower and upper body. Maybe if I find something I like I will do it more. Need to check out more videos, maybe. It is a pain to have to keep buying new shoes but better to spend money on that, than bariatric surgery, medications, bigger clothes, etc. You know all those negative things that say you are staying obese & unhealthy. I have to buy new shoes every 2-3 months with all my walking at work and out of work. You are doing an amaaaazing job and are such an inspiration to me since I hate ST and you are so consistent in that. You rock !!
