Elizabeth Jayne's new life

Hi!!! How did you like the new workout video? I'd like your opinion of it. Does it motivate you? Keep up the workouts. Every little bit helps.

Hi... Got your note on my page. Thanks for writing back. It's nice to have someone to "talk" to. Yes, exercising is my downfall. I don't like to do it... but I just have to get in the habit. My hubby bought me an elliptical to encourage me. Now I have to start using it.
I should walk the dogs. My kids do it now. I just hate getting one ready and having g the others getting all hinky. We have 4dogs. Love them all.
I just have to start. This is a new week and I'm going to try!
Keep in contact. Have a great week.

Hi LizbethJayne!
Yes, please add me - I have added you. Sorry it took so long to respond (learning how to use this site more each day!). I'd love to have a buddy that can help me keep on track when I stray also. I've had a hard time getting used to exercising! Had to stay away from it for so long after a bad car accident. Now that my leg is better, I can start to exercise... but I've gained so much, it seems hopeless. I need the words of encouragement! Lets stay in touch and help each other meet our goals!
Ferjeap!

Hi Lizbeth! Thanks for the friend add and the kind note on my page. Spinal surgery is a scary thing! I'm glad you came through it ok and are healing. Yes, recovery is a very slow thing and requires much patience. I was lucky to have a great rehab therapist who was encouraging and helped me past the emotional frustration with not being able to do the things that I used to do. By the end of my rehab program, I was stronger than ever! So patience and perseverance do pay off.

I had my gallbladder out back in 1993. I was glad to be rid of the pain, but started having digestive issues post-surgery. I hope you don't experience the same issues! Did you have lots of pain beforehand?

I hope you heal up soon and get back on track with all your goals. How awesome that you are planning on going back to school for a master's degree! I am so glad I did it. Good luck!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE SUGGESTION FOR THE NEW TYPE OF HEATING PAD. I HAVE A MICROWAVE IN MY BEDROOM (NO NOT FOR A MIDNIGHT SNACK OF POPCORN) BUT TO HEAT UP CORN BAGS FOR MY KNEE. I DON'T USE THE CORN BAG FOR BACK AS IT IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE LAYING ON IT.
