My Weight Loss Journey

I am a 21 year old college girl. I have been fighting with numbers on the scale for longer than I can remember. I've had as much success as I have had failure and am sick of yo-yoing progress which is a result of unhealthy weight loss strategies. I know what it takes to get the results I seek, however I lack somewhat in the motivation department. I'm giving Spark a shot hoping that I will get the support that I need to succeed.

Goals for August:
-155 by 8/29 (The start of the Fall semester)
-begin a running program
-join the gym!

My Program:
-Stay within my calorie range
-Begin and keep up with an exercise program. Cardio and Strength Training each 3x a week or more.
-Change my diet and eliminate as much processed food as possible, cook the majority of my meals myself, include more fruit&veg in my diet every day

Personal Information:
I've had issues with my body and food since I was 12. I'm sick of hating myself. I've put so much energy into detesting what I see in the mirror and going about fixing it in an unhealthy way. I'm using Spark in attempt to change all of this. I want to lose weight correctly, and create habits and routines that don't burn my body and my mind out. I want to learn to love myself, and respect my body and what I choose to put into it.
