I Want to Run, Dance, Fly, Move!

After losing almost 90 pounds and getting two brand new knees, this is what I want to do! I feel so good and am working hard to get my body ready to do some of these things. Not sure if my new knees will do the running but inside of me I am already running and will run towards my destiny! I am working hard in Physical Therapy and staying on my Low Carb Way of Eating. I will get there soon. I met my goal of dancing at my daughter's wedding July 6, 2012. More

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 8 lbs per month by eating a HFLC diet.

Short term goal is to get below 200.

Medium term long to get to 175.

Long term to lose about 180 lbs total before I turn 60 which would be 4/10/14.

My Program:
* Track my food
* Drink 8 glasses of water per day
* Ride exercise bike 30 min 3x's per week
* Eat around 20 net carbs.

Personal Information:
My name is Faith. I am from Southern California. I work as a Surgery Scheduler and enjoy my work. I have two new knees, thanks to total knee replacements. I am more active and have less pain, since the surgeries and losing the weight ! I am 85 pounds down and at least 115 more that I want to lose but would be satisfied with 95 more. It is amazing the "metamorphosis" taking place in my life. I give all glory to my Father God!

Other Information:
I love music, reading, and movies.I have a wonderful husband of 40 years, Ed, who loves me more than I can say.

I have 3 wonderful kids and 2 great daughters in law, a precious 5 yr old grandson and a newly acquired 8 yr old granddaughter. I have a new son-in-law along with another grandson that is 9 yrs old.

I am very active in our church. I do quite a bit of teaching and lead the women's ministry, called Destiny Women and the girl's ministry, called Daughters of Destiny.

One of my greatest motivators is the desire to dance in worship to my King, Jesus!

I also love to encourage people to step into their calling and fulfill their destiny.

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. It did hit hard. I don't know if we can ever be prepared for the loss of a family member.

Sorry to hear of your Father's passing Faith. I know how much that hurts. I lost my dad back in 2009 at the age of 59. It was a shock. We weren't very close but he was still my dad.

Prayers to you and your family. emoticon

I want to say thank you to everyone for the thoughts and prayers, etc. on the passing of my father. It is a hard time for sure but we have hope in knowing where he is and Who he is with. My heart still hurts. Community is an awesome thing and you are all part of my community.

Hi Faith!!
I got my left knee done about a year and a half ago. The other one will get done when my 15 yr. old pup makes her transition, as I have no one to take care of her. The shot I get every 3 months work wonders so it's not a problem.

I kinda thought we were "on the same page" too. Great minds think alike.
