HELLO ALL,

WELCOME! to my Spark Page.

Come, sit down and have a cup of tea while we get to know each other!

Hope you enjoy your stay!

With the season of Autumn comes cool crisp days and nights, along with the bountiful harvest of the fruits of our labors.
For me it has also meant a lot of changes in my life.

I have a bible verse to share that means a lot to me right now...

1 Corinthians 10:13
"No trial has overtaken you that is not faced by others. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear, but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it"

The past year has had its share of trials and tribulations for me.
I recently received a diagnosis of arthritis in my knees.
I am learning how important it is to stay close to the Lord during these trials that I am facing. For I can do nothing without His help.
God is calling me to become closer to Him as I deal with the challenges that arthritis brings.

Ireland! How exciting. Our librarian's sun just got back from Nepal. They are based in Colorado, but travel the world spreading the Good News. They've done a lot of good work and we're glad they're home safe and sound. The second quake hit while they were there. I'm sure Ireland will be much safer.

Hope you're enjoying your summer. All we have here is rain, rain, and then more rain. Ugh! Come on sunshine! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Well, let's see. I had a week vacation a couple of weeks ago. Didn't even get on Spark (shame on me!). But I relaxed and putzed around the house, getting little projects done. It was so nice. Had some sunny days and some rainy days. The perfect mix.

Sounds like you'll be busy this summer. I have no major plans. No trips planned. Just trying to slow down, de-stress, eat better, move more. The same old. We'll see if God has any surprises in store for me.

My sister had a 5 hour interview on Monday for a job. She's been out of work for 6 months after a downsizing where she worked. We're praying that she gets the job. She would be a research librarian at a medical college just around the corner from where she lives. We are trusting in God to know and do what's best for my sister, but it's hard not to think we know best. Hopefully we will know next week.

Glad to hear things are moving along with your knee. Take good care.
