HELLO ALL,

WELCOME! to my Spark Page.

Come, sit down and have a cup of tea while we get to know each other!

LET'S START ANEW!

A new year calls for a new beginning and a new start.
I am starting once again with the intent to do better than this
past year. I have done this in the past and I know it is possible to
succeed in achieving my goals.

Last year's verse still applies:

"The LORD says, “Forget what happened before,
and do not think about the past.
Look at the new thing I am going to do.
It is already happening. Don’t you see it?
I will make a road in the desert
and rivers in the dry land."

Isaiah 43:18-19 NCV

But this year I am adding two others to it:

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you.
Matthew 6:33.

...with God all things are possible
Matthew 19:26

Keep God first in your life and let's reach those goals!

Well, I hope the weather stays just perfect for your trip out East. We in the Midwest never know what to expect. Floods, tornadoes, thunder storms, hail - we get it all. It's hardly ever dull around here. The last couple of weeks have been fabulous. Mid 70's during the day, and 50's at night. Soft breezes, lots of sunshine. The last hurrah before Fall. Our leaves are beginning to change and drop. We may be in for a harsh winter this year. Next week I buy a snow blower. I've decided I'm too old to be out there shoveling all the time. I just don't have the energy or the stamina (or the desire) anymore! emoticon emoticon

Bring some warm clothes. It's already cooling off here in the Midwest. I bet DC will be a bit cooler yet. emoticon

Sue, I know being on a plane can be scary, but you can do it and God will see you through it. Where is the wedding?

Hi Sue!
I'm popping in to check on you. As the days get shorter, I feel myself once again drawn to the computer and Spark. I love the fall. I feel like I don't have to run and do, I can just relax and be. Hope all is well with you and your family. emoticon
