HELLO ALL,

WELCOME! to my Spark Page.

Come, sit down and have a cup of tea while we get to know each other!

Hope you enjoy your stay!

With the season of Autumn comes cool crisp days and nights, along with the bountiful harvest of the fruits of our labors.
For me it has also meant a lot of changes in my life.

I have a bible verse to share that means a lot to me right now...

1 Corinthians 10:13
"No trial has overtaken you that is not faced by others. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear, but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it"

The past year has had its share of trials and tribulations for me.
I recently received a diagnosis of arthritis in my knees.
I am learning how important it is to stay close to the Lord during these trials that I am facing. For I can do nothing without His help.
God is calling me to become closer to Him as I deal with the challenges that arthritis brings.

Hey, sound like you're recovering! emoticon Slow and steady. We have to take good care of ourselves. Nothing has taught me that as much as AGING. emoticon

    Hi Sue,

How's the knee? Hope you're feeling better. Just got in from a walk a little bit ago and thinking about breakfast. My sister is coming into town for my Mom's 80th birthday. We'll be celebrating that at lunch. Since I retired from my job, life is good. I'm so enjoying not having to go to work and I have more time for Sparking, reading, walking, yard work, goofing off. It's great.

Wishing you a beautiful day, my friend. emoticon

    Hi Sue,

thank you so much for dropping a note on my page. It was so nice to see it today, when I (finally) went back on after the move. We made it to Idaho!! It was by far the most exhausting move we have had (still kind of is). We are now in a house, but it is still empty, as our furniture has not arrived yet. so basically, we have been camping since May...
It will be so nice to have our own "stuff" again!
How are you doing? Are you part of teh summer challenge? I had to skip that one, because of the move. But I am waiting to get into the fall one!!
    How is your knee?
Hopefully, all is going well for you,
    Hugs!

    Hi Sue,
Sorry to hear you're still having problems with your knee. Age is going to get us all in the end. I'm slower than I used to be, but still moving. Some days are better than others. I imagine your daughter had an amazing time in Ireland. What a great opportunity. I haven't been on Spark much, either, but I'm hoping to change that now that I have more time. Take care, Sweetie. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
