WELCOME! to my Spark Page.

Come, sit down and have a cup of tea while we get to know each other!

Hope you enjoy your stay!

With the season of Autumn comes cool crisp days and nights, along with the bountiful harvest of the fruits of our labors.
For me it has also meant a lot of changes in my life.

I have a bible verse to share that means a lot to me right now...

1 Corinthians 10:13
"No trial has overtaken you that is not faced by others. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear, but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it"

The past year has had its share of trials and tribulations for me.
I recently received a diagnosis of arthritis in my knees.
I am learning how important it is to stay close to the Lord during these trials that I am facing. For I can do nothing without His help.
God is calling me to become closer to Him as I deal with the challenges that arthritis brings.

Dropping by to say hi and see how you're doing. This cold, damp weather we're having is giving me a little trouble in the knees and back. Aging is glorious! I hope you are still feeling some relief from your pain. Take care. emoticon

I'm so glad to hear that treatment is working for you right now. Let's hope it continues. How's fall by y'all? It's been cool and blustery for the past few days here. We'll be in the mid 60's through Sunday, 40's and 50's at night. I finally had to turn my heat on night before last. I do love the fall, though. Tucking in with a hot tea and a good book on a cold night - perfect. Have a beautiful day, my friend. emoticon

I have to cut back on my computer time because I AM getting up and doing more! My life is so busy since I retired. I've been volunteering at the library a couple hours daily. Mom's foot is still healing from surgery, so I've been her chauffer for the past 3 weeks - Dr. visits, hair-do's, grocery shopping, etc. And I've had my own appointments this month. Last weekend I bought yarn to start crocheting a blanket and I haven't even started. Oh, and I've also been shopping online for an electronic piano keyboard. Time consuming. Anyway, after this month things should slow down a little. But I have to confess, one day I was on this computer for 4 hours straight. BAD! Hope all is well with you and your family. Have a blessed Sunday!

    Hi Sue,

Good to hear from you. Sometimes a new doctor can make all the difference. I hope this turns out to be a most positive change for you. Good luck on the gym equipment. Be careful and go slow! emoticon
