HELLO ALL,

WELCOME! to my Spark Page.

Come, sit down and have a cup of tea while we get to know each other!

Hope you enjoy your stay!

Well, here we are in 2015...wow!...another year to renew our health and fitness goals. The past year was an exciting one and many goals were met, but for me it ended on a slow note.
So this year it is time to rev things up again and continue the successes of this past year.

This year I want to put God first in my life and let Him lead me on this journey He has set before me.
So some of the verses from last year still apply for me:

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you.
Matthew 6:33.

And the reminder that...

...with God all things are possible
Matthew 19:26

To these I add a third one to help motivate me and others who might stop by my page:

Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Phil 3: 12-14

With God's help, may we seek Him in all we do and reach the goals He has for us this year!

I WILL BEAT HER!
I will train harder
I will eat healthier
I know her weaknesses
I know her strengths
I've lost before
But I won't lose again
She is going down!
I have the advantage
Because I know her well
She is the old me

Hi Sue! How are things going for you? Here, things have been rather hectic. we are moving this summer, back to ID, so I have lost focus a bit on SP facing the mountain of details to take care of. Thinking of you, hoping all is well. Would love to hear from you! emoticon

G'morning! Yeh, I really gotta get into action verbs more: DO, GO, MOVE, instead of passive verbs like 'netsurf, read, knit, and - worst of all - teevee-ing.

Hey Sue!

Happy New Year! I didn't realize I still had Christmas stuff on my page until I got your comment. Time to change that, huh?

Not much new here. Although today I did treat myself to a manicure and pedicure. It was so nice. Relaxing. I need to do that more often. Next, maybe a massage.

Glad to hear you are doing well and moving forward. I've stayed the same as far as weight. Low ambition - too much going on with the family. When I read the newsletter my insurance company sent out there was an article on depression. The symptoms they sounded very familiar. Well, what we're all going through is depressing, so there you are. I'm working on taking better care of myself, eating better, sleeping better. We just do what we can do and trust the outcome to God. What would we do without Him?

Good luck with your small groups. I've been in small groups from time to time - lot of growth potential. Always an interesting journey. God bless!
