HELLO ALL,

WELCOME! to my Spark Page.

LET'S START ANEW!

A new year calls for a new beginning and a new start.
I am starting once again with the intent to do better than this
past year. I have done this in the past and I know it is possible to
succeed in achieving my goals.

Last year's verse still applies:

"The LORD says, “Forget what happened before,
and do not think about the past.
Look at the new thing I am going to do.
It is already happening. Don’t you see it?
I will make a road in the desert
and rivers in the dry land."

Isaiah 43:18-19 NCV

But this year I am adding two others to it:

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you.
Matthew 6:33.

...with God all things are possible
Matthew 19:26

Keep God first in your life and let's reach those goals!

Thanks for visiting my page Sue and sharing your own story of healing! AWESOME! Yes, yes, yes God is so good and Yes, yes, yes, He HAS healed you for your Nephritis (sp?) to go into remission and for so many years! I DO believe your low-salt diet helped, but I don't believe it could have caused the TOTAL remission all on it's own!

So, Praise Jesus for His healing touch on you! Amen and Amen!

Thank you for adding me as a SparkFriend! I'm always happy to make new, Christian friends! I'm doing the same for you as soon as I finish this post!

Having an absolutely AWESOME day and wishing you the same! Hoping God blesses you with as much, if not more, happiness as I have now! emoticon

Great Morning Sue!

I just came by and wrote you a very long and detailed comment about my own experience with Chronic Kidney Disease, trying to offer you hope and encouragement after reading your comment on my page mentioning your "kidney doctor" but..........

........the Computer gremlins got it!! emoticon

Long story made short: I was told my Kidney Specialist in 2007, my Chronic Kidney Disease would NEVER get better, it, and my kidney function, would only get worse over time and I would go from my "then" stage 2 to stages 3, 4, and 5 over time.

My PCP just told me this past Monday that my kidney function is now NORMAL and I NO LONGER HAVE KIDNEY DISEASE!!!!!!

I did nothing special for it and followed no special diets for it. The only thing I did for myself is follow the SparkDiet here on SP, from May 2012 to May 2013 to get healthier and lose weight.

My moral of the story being a born-again Christian! I was healed by God of my Chronic Kidney Disease because science and the medical community offered me no help or hope!

God bless you Sue! Sending emoticon and emoticon

You were fine! I should have seen the simple and sugar part and all I saw instead was carbs. Like I said, it really was a bad experience for me and where I once was OK with the Paleo diet became a nasty word to me. I may have been over emotional about it, but when people just won't let up on their ideas thinking what works for one works for all, it just gets frustrating when they don't listen.

It is good to find others that are like minded. It really helps on this journey!!

Have a great weekend and may the Lord bless you richly!!
Hugs,
Trina

Yes, whole grains are the way to go! I tend to forget that most people do eat grains. I was on a team in May that was trying to get me to give up grains completely for the sake of weight loss and no matter that I said I personally could not do a low carb diet with no grains, they didn't want to listen. I was made to feel guilty to not adopt their Paleo diet lifestyle, and ended up leaving that team and transferred back to my former BLC team. So I do tend to get a little defensive about eating my grains I guess after that experience. I mean if someone wants to do a particular way of eating, that is fine, but don't tell me that I have to do the same thing to see results. The Lord made grains and I am eating them! I am seeing awesome results by eating my whole grains! So, if I sounded I little defensive about that, I apologize!!
