HOPING FOR HEALTH

Hi my name is Pat, I am 66 and recently retired. I need to lose 100 lbs. I am not a physically active person. My goal is to get healthy and lose enough weight that I can do the tings I want to.I know this will be a long journey but I am motivated and determined. I recently purchased SP Activity tracker. Seems to be improving my motivation. Need That!

Current Status:
LIVINGLOVINLIFE Allergies and hay fever has hit. Pretty miserable last night and this morning. Hopefully will get better. Had good rain this morning, But not enough. Have a great Thursday.

I AM ACTIVE IN THE LADIES AUXILIARY TO THE VETERANS OF FOREIN WARS.I AM VERY PROUD OF OUR VETERANS. IAM ACTIVE IN TRYING TO PROTECT THEIRBENEFITS, ESPECIALLY OUR AGED RETIREES.I LOVE TO READ, SCIENCE FICTION,CHRISTIAN ROMANCE AND HISTORIC NOVELS. I ALSO ENJOY PHOTOGRAPHY.

Pat hope your allergies get better, they say it's going to be a worse season then last year, not something to look forward to. I keep hearing on tv it's better to go out in the evening than morning as the pollen counts are higher in the a.m.

Everyone has to do what works for them ... I was told to build endurance by starting out slow and steady. I walked ten minutes at 1.2 miles and hour and built up from there. Every other week I up the time or the speed. I am now walking 35 minutes at 2 miles and hour ... 10 minutes is warm up and cool down 5/5.
