Embrace the positive, ditch the negative. It's all in the attitude. The one thing in life we have the power to change is our attitude. I have a choice! Do I want to live my days with a bad attitude? Heck No! I want to live with joy in my heart - even when the situation is not particularly joyous.
The bad attitude that I allowed to take over my mind has interfered with my life on so many levels. Now I am thinking positively, and with that energy, I will be able to accomplish so ...

My Goals:
Eat mindfully - food will not fill any emotional void, but will overflow my jeans!

hi - sorry to disappoint you, but I've not gotten into the saddle yet!! Actually I need to lower the seat a bit as my toes can not quiet touch the floor. I've had a lazy and totally non-productive weekend and am struggling to turn it around. No excuses really, just gotta get on and go!

In general I tend to post goofball blog posts. I tend to also stay away from political/religious/etc. postings. So I get a little nervous posting serious stuff ... so I really appreciate the comments made there so far. And, I too liked Speedydog's comment.

About the squats and arthritis....They don't hurt me or caue flare ups as long as I don't go to deep and use perfect form . Lunges however are another matter. I cannot remotely attempt those. I also think that getting the weight off has helped. My knee jointsin particular though the pain in my feet is still bad. I think arthritis is one of those things that if you let it could bring your quality of life to a dead standstill. When I was diagnosed last year I just decided that I was gonna plow through the pain. The emotional pain of living a small life was gonna be way worse....
