I've been overweight and struggled with my weight seems like for ever. As a child I was the heaviest of the siblings. But two years ago that changed and that was one of my happiest days. It's not lasting and I am trying hard not to gain it all back.

Thanks for you comment on my "Bikes and Beer" blog. I live in the Rocky Mountains. Rideable roads are few. I have a cross bike which works on the rough pavement and dirt roads around here. I sold my pure road bike.

I have lived in other places where riding a road bike would be a lot of fun. However, I live in the middle of some of the best mountain biking terrain in the World! People travel from all over the globe to ride mountain trails that are just a few miles from my house.

Thanks, Bruce

Thanks for the comment on the blog (about the truck bike carrier).

And you are sooooo right when you say "its all bout the bike" hahaha. About 3 or 4 weeks ago I fell off my bike....one of those clipless pedal forget to unclip things. Where the only thing that gets hurt is your pride.

Anyway, as I fell, I rolled to my back and lift the bike high in the air. (1 foot was still clipped in and my hand were on the hoods ... so i was easy to lift as I rolled.)

I gentle let the bike come to rest on the ground. Were there scratches? On me yes. On the bike NO! BIG WIN!!!!

Thanks for replying! When you're on, if you could just reply to a post or two on the team page. Right now it's the same 5 or so of us. haha

I think we're also going to try for a meet up in September. MJ just posted regarding that on the team page.

Miss ya lady. Hope to see you around!

I agree with SBEAR5 ... let's start the SA Team rocking again :)

Besides ... if I remember correctly you were totally kicking my butt with the bike rides ... I'm interested to know how things have been going with you!
