Hi. Seems like I've been on one diet or another for most of my life. I am always going up the scale or down the scale. My ultimate goal is to be at a reasonable weight and learn how to STAY there !! I need HELP on developing strength and muscles!! My highest weight was 260....I feel left with a lot of flab- ugh!

My Goals:
Why do I want to lose weight 1. Feel in control of my eating 2 buy clothing because I like, not solely because it fits 3 to be less self conscious 4 be more social 5 feel strong and able 6 increased stamina 7 like myself in the mirror
Personal Information:
I am getting ready to start the 5% Summer Challenge. 5% of 176 is 8.8 pounds. That would be a bit more than one pound per week. I don't feel confident I will lose that much BUT my main goal is going to be exercise. I want to work on cardio, getting my heart rate up and I suppose, sweating. I am going to try and do 30 min of cardio a day in addition to strength and walking daily.
