My Goals:
1) to reach inside "healthy" Body Mass Index number (CHECK! as of June 19, 2011).

2) get into one dress I have held onto for three years! (CHECK! as of June 19, 2011)

3) Reach goal weight of 148.5. (CHECK! as of August 6, 2011)

4) MAINTAIN goal weight (now at 138 lbs)! (CHECK as of May 19, 2012... and ongoing!)

My Program:
IN MAINTENENACE MODE:

CONSISTENCY: Exercise: 2-3 15min miles on treadmill 3-4 days/week; strength training 3X week.

FUELING Body: Protein Blast (at least 30g) within 45 minutes of awakening); Eating within SP recommended Calorie/Nutrient Ranges (aiming for lower end of range) Fruits, Veggies, lean protein and NO processed foods. READ labels on everything and reject everything with high fructose corn syrup and sodium over 400mg! (strive for no more than 1800mg/day) TRACK food honestly.

ADEQUATE REST for optimum results: 7-8 hours sleep per day (sometimes this requires 1-2 powernaps of 30 min)

Other Information:
I believe in the Power of One! If you can see it, you can BE it. Time marches on no matter our intention, hope, attitude. Only YOU can adjust all of these things and bring out your best self one day at a time. If you awoke today breathing, you have the time! If you are reading this, you have hope! Now, what's your intention?

WOW! I wanted to come by here to emoticon for what you emoticon in reply to my quandary about my "being afraid of reaching my goal weight! It was a emoticon way to look at it. I think you might be right. I have been so focused on doing this that it has become like a "job". I took yesterday off pretty much from the exercise & was BOOORED to DEATH! I mean I cam rhere to SP and did my things but I have weaned myself from being a complete T.V. FREAK! LOL:)) I still have it on but rarely sit thru an entire show w/o doing something else like exercising while I'm "watching". Sorry I'm just going on & on. But you seem like you really have things together and I wished as soon as I read your reply that you were a real life friend of mine or someone I COULD get to know in reality. BUT! Considering we live across the country from one another, from North to South that is, That's not possible. You did give me something else to focus on however. I gave it some thought and maybe I will start getting on the new focus as well as the weight thing and the weight thing will just happen. Thanks again! emoticon

Hey. Namaste yourself. I spend most summers in India, so it made me smile when you used that greeting. The bike ride was great. My wife went with me which made it even more fun.
