17 Things I Want To Accomplish in 2017(thank you Janet!)

1. Read 17 books.
a. LaRose by Louise Erdrich
b. Kitchens of The Great Midwest by J. Ryan Stradal
c. A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman
d. The Watchmaker's Daughter by C. J. Archer
2. Try one new recipe a month. I have scads of cookbooks - I need to use them!!
January: Slow Cooker Low Card Unstuffed Cabbage Soup from SP member MEWHENRYSMAMA
3. Go see The Nutcracker at Lincoln Center.
4. Lose 17 pounds.
5. Take a new class through The Adult School.
6. Explore and create something zentangle.
7. Cook with kale. Kale intimidates me!
8. Make something with a new knitting pattern.
9. Re-learn how to crochet.
10. Reteach myself or take a class to learn how to use a sewing machine again.
11. For every Spark Point I earn, put an equivalent amount of money in a jar. (Thanks Nancy!!)
12. Keep a positivity journal. Look for positive news items and keep a record of them.
13. Visit family more often.

a. Ride recumbent bike for 30-60 minutes 6 days a week.
b. Strength train 3-5 days a week.


2. Real Life Goals
a. Walk a little more each day.

a. Stay as healthy as possible.

a. 30 minutes of exercise every day

5. Feel Good Goals
a. Have more energy

I've lived in CT, ME, NY, Wash. DC, VA, RI, CA, LA, SC, PA, and now NJ. My Dad was US Navy.

I love cats, and currently am step-mom to 3: Haley, Bailey, and Cybil.

Love owls too!

I enjoy reading, knitting, hunting for collectibles/antiques, and crafting.
