18 Things I Want To Accomplish in 2018

1. Read 18 books. I'll start a blog and list the books there.
2. Knit 12-18 hat's for the American Heart Association's program Little Hats, Big Hearts project for babies born with congenital heart defects.
3. Continuing attending The Knitting Group.
4. Make something with a new knitting pattern.
5. Lose 18 pounds.
6. Follow all new health guidelines set by myself and my doctors.
7. Get clearance to drive.
8. Rejoin Planet Fitness if I get # 7.
9. Try 1 New recipe a month. I'll start a blog about those.
10. I WILL cook with kale!!
11. Keep a sleep journal.
12. Get to the range.
13. Write 1 letter a month to a friend. NOT an email or a text, but a real letter!
14. Tackle my basement. DH has agreed to help. We'll do it one section at a time!
15. Visit Teddy Roosevelt's estate, Sagamore Hill, on Long Island.
16. Visit The Stickley Museum and Craftsman Farms.
17. Visit The Museum of Natural History.
18. Go see The Nutcracker at Lincoln Center.

1. Performance Goals:
a. Ride recumbent bike for 10 minutes a day, and build up.
b. Do my body weight exercises every day!

2. Real Life Goals
a. Walk a little more each day.

3. Health Goals
a. Stay as healthy as possible.

4. Movement Goals
a. 30 minutes of exercise every day

5. Feel Good Goals
a. Have more energy
b. Wake up better.

My Program:
1. Use Nutrition tracker.
2. Use Fitness tracker.
3. Drink at least 10 cups of water a day.

I've lived in CT, ME, NY, Wash. DC, VA, RI, CA, LA, SC, PA, and now NJ. My Dad was US Navy.

I love cats, and currently am step-mom to 3: Haley, Bailey, and Cybil.

I enjoy reading, knitting, hunting for collectibles/antiques, and crafting.

I am retired from teaching.

    Tell that to my fat self! LOL I try not to worry about how long but I guess I'm tired of being fat!

    I went through my recipes and picked out several for next week. I am close to Onederland and I want to get there by April 1!

    Thanks and yes, doc ordered some antibiotics for 14 days (ugh) and I started the probiotics on my own. Also went to the store today and bought some yogurt.
