Back on track for good!

I joined SP in February of 2010, unsure if it would do me any good at all. I had been trying to lose weight forever, and had been obese for as long as I could remember.

Well, the weight came off very steadily! Within five months, I had lost 30 pounds! I was so excited and so happy to see my new shape. And I felt great!

Well, colder weather came, and I lost track of my goals. It was more important to have a warm cup of cocoa and a piece of cake than it was for me ...

The good news is that over the winter months, I only gained 3 pounds! Now that better weather is here, I'm ready to do this again and make it stick this time! I'm going to lose those last 30 pounds just as quickly as I lost the first 30 pounds!

"2 mini Reese's cups are lower in calories (80 calories, 5g fat, 10g sugars) than 2 pieces of taffy (110 calories, 1g fat, 24g sugars)."

These "features" are often sloppy. SP's own nutrition tracker says that 1 piece of salt water taffy is 15 calories.

So at 30 calories BY SP'S OWN NUTRITION TRACKER, the taffy is less than half the calories of the Reeses.

Hey, saw a post on the message boards by you. I feel your pain on the sagging skin thing - I am dealing with a lot of the same issues as you. My stomach looks absolutely awful when I lay on my side and my boobs look bad ALL the time! It sucks. I'm at the point where I know my skin isn't going to stretch back any more than it already has (I lost the large chunk of my weight over 5 years ago), so I am debating surgery, but it is expensive!!

Hope it's okay if I add you as a sparkfriend!
