Halloween pic, wearing my size 4 prom dress from 16 years ago (converted to saloon girl costume)
At my start weight. Size 18.
Around a size 8 in this pic. 35 lbs down from my start weight.
LITTLEMOMJ is a SparkPeople Motivator!
I am 4'11'' (almost) and I have lost 49 lbs.
I went from a size 18 to a 4.
I did this by losing between 1 and 3 lbs a month and it took 20 months to reach my goal.
I began with 10 minute walks and worked my way up to 3 mile runs.
Currently, I am training for a half marathon in May 2012. Nobody, including myself, EVER expected an accomplishment like that from me. I'll show us what I'm truely capable of.
To eat an appropriate amount of food for my size and calorie requirement.
To increase my speed, stride length and endurance while running.
To do a one-handed pushup.
I have always been small and insecure. I overemphasize my failures and minimize my accomplishments.
To lighten the load of a negitive emotion, I overeat and get mad at myself for the overeating instead of feeling the disappointment, anger, sadness or resentment.
I have learned how to stop avoiding anything too real - I have to accept the bad feelings because there's no cure for normal.
It feels bad to feel bad, but when I don't displace feelings and turn them into an attack on myself, I get to enjoy the good feelings more.
Physically, I have reached my goal.
Mentally, I know I have some work to do.
I have shrunk the body, now I can work on growing the person.

Of course they lose all their baby weight right away - they have to. If a celebrity mom doesn't bounce right back to her bikini-strutting self within 2 months, her body is criticized in every form of media. I thank God I could be at home with my flabby belly instead of at the gym trying to look good for the photo shoot that was set up for exactly 8 weeks after a scheduled c-section. They can keep their personal chefs and trainers, I don't need the stress."
Hello :) I was reading an article about celeb moms and losing the baby weight when I found your EXTREMELY rude, unpleasing, and horrific comment. For starters, I don't mean to offend your opinions, we all have different opinions and that is great however, I would like to point some things that make your opinion rude to people like me. Also, a lot of your comment is incorrect.
1. Celebrities are NOT paid to lose weight. A singer is paid sing, an actress is paid to act, a dancer is paid to dance.
2. Every fat person is bullied for being fat, not just celebs. I can assure you of this. So why don't you believe that it is their job to lose weight? Instead you encourage them to be at an unhealthy weight.
3. If you want to "flabby" and and unhealthy and you don't see a problem with this please go to a doctor, PLEASE! It is not good for you to think that you should be unhealthy. If anything after you have a baby you should be at your healthiest because your unhealthy and "fatty" ways is what you are exposing your child to. If a mom is unhealthy her bay is unhealthy.
4. Why are you so jealous of celebs? You want to be "flabby" "unhealthy" and "lazy" that's great but please stop judging us women, who don't. I always find that women put me down because I eat a healthy vegan diet and I exercise regularly even through my pregnancy and afterwards because YOU GUYS are jealous women. You need to pick on us to feel better that's sad.
Last but not least, if you don't have any inspirational to say don't say anything at all. Don't judge, don't hate.
