My Goal is to lose weight and get healthy... and, let's be honest, I want to look hot. Right now I'm not. **I had RNY gastric By-pass surgery at the end of June 2011. I am quite tall (6 ft) and long of limb, I have been told that I am very luck to "carry the extra weight so well". Not really, it just means that I didn't really notice the weight until I hit morbidly obese. I'm tired of being alone because I fined myself so unattractive no one else can fined me attractive. I'm tired of having my weight restrict my activities. I'm tired of being tired. I've decided to pursue weight loss surgery, I started out sure I wanted the Lap-Band but after more research and talking with my surgeon I've began to pursue Rough-en-Y Gastric Bypass. I've realized that I am unable to keep weight off for the long term on my own and if I don't get a handle on it now my health will only get worse. I know that surgery isn't the magic pill but I believe it will give me the boost I need for long term weight loss and maintenance. Also, I have an energetic puppy that is going to be joining me on this weight loss adventure, he's a great running/walking buddy.
