Journey to a Better Me
I'm 44 years old and I am currently 81 pounds from my goal weight! I was so sick when I started Spark People! I had Bronchitis, which was later diagnosed as Asthma and then diagnosed as Pneumonia. I quit smoking on 1/6/10 and I have lost 20 pounds! Hitting my goal will mean a total weight loss of 101 pounds, quitting smoking forever, and eating Healthy every day. Welcome to my Journey!!

My Goals:
Goal #1: Lose 1 dress size by Easter 2010

My Program:
I get all of the information I need to be successful right here at SP! I eat 3 meals a day, and a snack or two. My biggest difficulty is no longer my sweet tooth, but mindless eating at night! Lots of Cardio (5 times per week for at least 60 minutes) is working for me! Also, adding strength training has REALLY helped to drop the pounds!

I'm originally a Jersey Girl and found this page from my best friend from high school!! (Thanks, Girl!). I have lived in the Richmond Virginia area for 21 years and it's my true home! I love it. I married my best friend on May 17, 1997, and I have one (step) daughter and a 3 year old granddaughter. One very spoiled cat and an even more spoiled dog.
Other Information:
With the help of Jesus Christ-my Savior and yours-we can do this! He has never, ever failed me and has brought me through much tougher challenges!! With His blessing, this will be my start to a healthier life to bless Him!
