I was all packed and ready to go, and God decided not to end the world. Oh well.
Fibroids, huh? That truly does suck. My sister had those. You can definitely say you got a unique gift this year, huh?
It's been a struggle for me this year, getting into the true Spirit of Christmas. I don't think I took enough time to slow down and pay attention to the season. It's never too late, though, so I'm working on it. I asked Dad the other day what he would like for Christmas and he said, "What's Christmas?" So I told him. Poor thing. Although he continues to slip, he is a happy go lucky guy. God has been so good to us. The Units are slowing way down and sleeping a whole lot more, but they're as good as can be expected. I just love 'em like crazy.
One of the "clients" where I work was in the administration building cleaning up the other day. He spoke with an accent, so I asked the escort officer if he was Polish or Russian or what? You KNOW what I'm gonna say next... He's Lithuanian. The next time I saw him, I wished him Merry Christmas in Lithuanian. That's two of about 5 words I know. He started going off in Lithuanian and I had to stop him and tell him I didn't understand. What a loss.
Well, Girlie, wishing you and your fibroids a glorious, peaceful, Jesus-filled Christmas!
LOL, well you can't say that Maryann and I aren't 'johnny on the spots' peoople!! LOL.....well then we shall put you on the list for Jan 2013!!!! (but we really DO want to wish you well....) Glad to hear the shots worked better -- and we have dogs too and you're right getting them in 'quickly' over the holidays could be a problem!!
