Kickstarting a new chapter of my life. Federal pension rolling in, new set of wheels in the carport, life is good. My RTKR came out great and shots are making the other knee feel like new. Travel is on the horizon...

Thanks for the Goodie and the warm Welcome to the low carb team. After last years stellar health numbers my Dr. put me on the lowest possible dose he could go with on the statins with a promise that if my numbers look that good this year we will readdress the issue of taking me off of them. I have an appointment this Monday. My fingers are crossed. But seriously - if he is resistant to change I may follow your lead and file 13 the statins.
The colors here are gorgeous. Sadly, I'm seeing them by vehicle. I know, I should be walking. Exercise! Yes! No. :( Not lately anyway. Just got back from seeing Dad. He's having a good day today. That's always a gift. Mom and I are taking tomorrow off and just resting. Maybe I'll go over and challenge her to a game of scrabble. We like that. Get many trick or treaters out there on the island? A few in my neighborhood, but I'll be at adoration. I don't remember Halloween being on a Friday for a long time. Unless it was last year, in which case we can consider this confirmation that I truly have lost my mind. See the doctor Tuesday morning to see what we're gonna do about my liver. I'm starting to get used to having something wrong with me all the time. THAT is wrong. Anyway, I'm making this short - my computer is on the blink and I'm down at the library. Hope you're having an amazing day, my friend. Hugs!
