Nice! Having a personal trainer will be great! Last year for Mother's Day, my husband and kids gave me three months with a private yoga instructor at my house. Now we've turned it into a small Ashtanga yoga group once a week. I might skip out on going to the gym or a walk by myself, bur I'd never let my yoga teacher or group down. 2496 days ago

Hey Lisa - if you got to Sparkrecipes and look for my user name I have several cookbooks on Clean Eating. There are a variety of recipes there and I have sorted them out by catagory (i.e. breakfast, entrees, spreads, etc...). I have also written notes on them as to what the kids liked, or what we would need to change.
What I do with beans is chop them finely in the food processor and then add them back into ground turkey or lean ground sirloin. No one even notices that they are there and everyone still gets the benefits. Trust me, I have two kids and they don't even know they are there!
The CE French Toast was a big hit with the kids as well as the Oatmeal pancakes. With the kids I have started a new snack program - lots of cut veggies and fresh fruit in the fridge; they can have something from the pantry AFTER eating something from the fridge.
I also put out storage containers for their treats (whole wheat goldfish, gingersnaps, Teddy Grahams) and on the side of the container put a note of how many equal a serving and the calories. Doing that alone reduced the amount of grab and eat the entire box! LOL!
We also eat Laura's Lean beef when we have beef; have switched to Ronzoni healthy pasta (like it better then Barilla); sage crusted pork tenderloin was a big hit and you can even make pulled pork sandwiches in the crockpot; and I try to have two veggies as well as fresh fruit on the table at dinner.
