Running my butt off

I look in the mirror, I see someone healthy and fit. I go out and run and I feel young and energetic. Then I step on the scale or take a so called "Fitness Test" and I am categorized as a Fat Slob.

Depressed?? Oh no... I am coming over with the chocolate - aw geez I guess that wouldn't help us with our weight loss. :)

Take it one day at a time. You are alive & healthy so enjoy the journey. The weight will come off. It may come off VERY SLOW but it will come off.

Hang in there - you are not alone!

Hey Lisa-just wanted to say thank you for your comments on my marathon blog! I've been thinking about you a lot this week and can relate to your frustrations. This marathon cemented for me the idea of having patience (because what else can you have when you're running for 5+ hours) and things will come in good time. If you continue to make the best choices, your weight WILL go down.

I love your goals for 2009! I hope you keep them in focus in the coming months!! Best of luck!

-Patty

Lisa, it looks like we have similar shapes..and i own those nike red running shorts! There's pics of my in my photoalbum on my page!

I'm injured as well and have finished PT, but still not better. I'm considering the cortisone shot because i'm going a little crazy. I feel like i'm no longer a runner, and its so much a part of me. I konw that every runner gets injured and has their moment. Patience i suppose :).

Hang in there..i'm in the same boat.
