Once upon a time I was well over 400 lbs. I'm never going back! Breaking in to the 200s is near. Watch me conquer my weight, a lifelong foe.

Update: 7/19/13: Im in the 200's and have joined a gym. I think I should add a goal here... Run a 5k by summer 2014 OH MY

Update 8/28/13 In the 280's and still going strong. Working on improving my diet, focusing on eating more whole foods rather than processed "health food"

My Goals:
Get to 160lbs by Christmas of 2014

Run/walk a 5k by summer 2014

Drink 64 oz of water daily

Eat between 1500-1800 calories a day (to be adjusted as weight drops)

Some form of exercise 5 days a week



My Program:
Not following too precise of a diet. Basically I am cutting out junk food, fast food, and overly processed food. Drink mostly water and my alotted 2 cups of coffee a day. For cold beverages unsweetened teas.

My name is Lisa, I live in a small town in southern Minnesota. I have a BA in English Education but found my passion working with the geriatric population, specifically dealing with dementia.
