I am 45 and 5ft 3in (and a wee bit) tall. I am currently 165lbs was 183.6lbs in weight when I restarted in August 2013. My weight loss journey has been up and down and I have tried various popular weight loss groups to get me on the way to losing weight.

Since the end of August 2013 I had been following the Slimming World diet and attending group once a week. This was my third attempt at this diet and this time I think I had successfully got the hang of it. To assist me I had also continued to use the meal planner on Spark People as I have found this has helped me make sensible choices as it is still easy to have too many calories if you are not careful.

I am now back to using just the Spark People planner as I cannot currently afford to attend the SW meetings. I have reset my goals and also moved my weigh-in day to Monday with a monthly tape measure of Bust, Waist and Hips

Current Weight 157.4

Target 1 28th July 2014 = 153
Target 2 25th August 2014 = 149
Target 3 22 ndSeptember 2014 = 145
Target 4 20th October 2014 = 141
Target 5 17th November 2014 = 137

So even if I don't hit these exactly losing about a lb a week I should hit my GOAL of 136 by Christmas 2014

I am either following the SW diet plan or using Spark People nutrition calculator depending on how I feel in any given week. Both plans have been working successfully for me.
