One step at a time

.I am an adventurer at heart; and have so many dreams of things I want to see and do.....but the one thing that often times makes this difficult has been my weight.

I have always laughed, and said well I do things most people my size don't. Whioch is true, but has also come at a cost.. Lots of injuries. I have fallen off a mountain, and blew out my knee, I almost was unable to complete my season in Alaska last summer due to my weight issues, and beinng so out of shape. When I came home from Alaska I weighed 30 lbs more than when I left. Not something to be proud of in the least. I decided then I had to make some changes in my life. I'm not unfamiliar with change. I have gone through a lot of change in my life: divorce, job loss, major adjustments due to health issues. So I know whats involved. I do plan on going back to Alaska in April; I work as a supervisor over an employee housing program for a major resort. Being I will be the supervisor tbis year, I will have a lot more responsibility placed on me, and my weight cannot be the issue it was last year. I returned from Alaska the first of October, and left for Uganda in December, now 2 1/2 months later I am down to a lower weight than I was before I left for Alaska last spring. 35 lb loss to be exact; it's a start on my way to better health, and a better me.

Hi, I saw in one of the posts you said you didn't know how many calories you should be eating. If you go to the Nutrition tracker, it will tell you your range of calories, carbs, fat, and protein. You can find it under My Trackers. You can also log your food there. It is part of my daily routine. Without it, I don't think I would have made the progress that I have. Good luck, Annabelle
