Back to Basics

I gave birth on Monday April 18th 2011 to the most beautiful girl I have ever seen.

Since then I have been utilizing crossfit routines to really build my strength and endurance. Now I want to see the results of my hard work.

My Goals:
I am learning to eat mindfully and more healthy. I know that I need to track my food to really see what I am putting in my body.

One day I want to run an ultra-marathon.

My Program:
Looks like this:
Sunday - Rest
Monday - crossfit
Tuesday - crossfit Wednesday - crossfit
Thursday - rest
Friday - crossfit
Saturday - crossfit

Personal Information:
My name is Lisa and I live in Ridgefield, WA. I have completed three marathons and eigh half-marathons - I love to run!

I am happily married to a great man and have a 12-year-old son and a 20 month old daughter.

Other Information:
I LOVE numbers. The calorie counting aspect of working out and eating is almost as much fun as actually working out. I like to study nutrition, however I don't really put it to good use...but I'm working on it. No more excuses.

I saw you on one of my friend's pages, and thought I'd stop by and say hi! Your little girl is just beautiful! I am expecting our third (a boy-due in Sept) and we have two older children. Our dd is 11 and our ds is 7. I am on blogger as well, and am following your blog now. :) You mentioned reading The Baby Whisperer, and implementing things from it-I did this with my ds too and it was great! I need to read it again here soon because it has been a LONG time! Anyway, congrats! :)

I TOTALLY feel you on your size WHAT?!? blog! Pre=pregnancy I was an 8-10 and now I am a freakin 16!!! My butt grew enormously and I guess that's just gonna stick around. I also had a little belly pooch before I got pregnant and now that's doubled in size. Grrrr... I wanted to get back into 8's eventually, but I may have to settle for 10's.

You definitely have to start off slow with the eating and working out. I made my transition over the course of about 5 weeks, but its still a daily struggle. I honestly believe if you just wrap your mind around it long enough, you can accomplish anything. That's my motivational thought every day at least lol

I'm a strong believer in before and progress pictures. Even if you don't post them, you should take some for yourself. Thanks for the compliment on my photos. Clothes are amazing at camouflaging my flabby belly. lol

things are going very well over here! How about with yall? I've been back on the working out/counting calories train for several weeks now. Its gonna be a slow process this time around, but that's ok! How are you doing with it all?
