lose those last 10!

I'm Lis and I need to lose those last 10 pounds again. I'd lost 35 pounds in 2005, another 11 in 2006, gained some back and they decided to hang on.
These 10 pounds have been stuck back on since June 2007 and I keep yo-yo-ing between 141 and 145 since then. My body likes this range - I want to get below 140 again....
My favorite exercise is yoga and walking

My Program:
The end of March 2005 I started the Michael Thurmond 6 week body make-over. Finally something worked! I lost 35 pounds in 5 months. Over the next 9 months I lost another 11, down to 134. That was hard to maintain.

Jan 2008 - The weight crept back up to 145 over the last 8 months - now it's time to lose those 10 pounds again.

July 2010 - went below 140 for the first time in over 3 years!!

November 2010 - I'm back up in my "comfy" range 141-145

January 2013 - gained a few over the last year but back with the program!
February 2013 - back below 140 :)
March 31st 2013 - at goal! 135

Personal Information:
After living in beautiful SW Colorado, near Pagosa Springs for 13 years, we are now living in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico.
2009/2010 was our first winter in San Carlos - great to be out of the snow! I was also happy to be back in Colorado for most of the summer. We're back in Mexico and now it will be pretty much full time. We may escape the heat in the summer and enjoy the cooler weather in Colorado for a couple of months.

Hello Lis, We ARE BACK!
I am exhausted and glad to be back in my own bed tonight !
The kids had a blast!

I will find out the "damage" in the morning but for the most part did what I could to stay on track! Hard to keep up the water when you have to walk to the washrooms all the time! :-)

Have a great evening, I think I am going to bath and crash! Unpacking will have to wait until tomorrow and I will have to cycle to the store to get my greens in the morning! Stores were closed here because of Victoria Day!

Morning Lis, Bad day yesterday, a chocolate bar jumped into the cart at the grocery store! THAT has not happened in MONTHS!!! Then I was "dragged" into the frozen yoghurt store! URGH! Must be PMS, I think I should invest in some L-Glutamine for times such as these!

Today, and the rest of the weekend WILL be better!
So as a result of hormones and weak will power....and that slice of fresh Italian bread, up a pound!

Having carrot soup for lunch! emoticon

Have a great weekend!

Re: cutting out wheat for RLS relief.

I have heard this suggestion before. Apparently some have connected celiac disease with RLS. The flaw in that is that I have no symptoms of celiac disease nor any other type of gluten sensitivity.

Furthermore, the connection seems to be that celiac disease can cause iron deficiency, and iron deficiency can cause restless leg syndrome.

But that also does not fit my case. I have had my iron test regularly when I donate platelets and they are telling my that my iron numbers are very high; they want me to start giving double reds instead of platelets.

Good morning Lis, I am busy eating my blueberry compote!
So delicious! I had it hot this time and it is way better!

Up 0.2 this morning, but taking that as hormonal.

Up and at it early this morning! ( The garbage truck comes by around 7 am!)
We can't put out the garbage the night before because of racoons!

Have a great day today!
