I'd say we definitely become more like our parents... And we can't help it!
I've heard a lot of ex-smokers say after they'd quit for a long stretch of time, they tried a cigarette one day - and hated the taste, the smell, everything, it nearly made them puke. Maybe one day this will be the same for you - But I don't want you to go trying it, you're doing perfectly fine without - you're totally dealing with the temptation - and brilliantly!
I've been really great thanks, eating is mostly great and I'm loving my workouts. I love being in this frame of mind... And try to stay here as long as possible!
Wow yeah, I was in Munich in mid-January and it was hovering around 0. Just a few weeks ago, my friend who lives there messaged me and told me about their winter now haha.
Sorry school is stressing you out. While I'm sad that I left the Master's program there (since Sweden introduced tuition to non-EU students this year, enrolment dropped from 60 to 12 and the program has therefore become too crappy for me to justify paying 5400 Euros per semester), it's nice to just relax and take some time to do the things I never have the time to do while waiting to hear back from universities I applied to here in Canada. 1811 days ago
Oh yeah, I know what you mean. My contacts are a weaker prescription than my glasses, and sometimes I can tell a difference. Hopefully you can straighten that out in time, like update your lenses on your glasses.
Sweden was awesome. Beautiful country, and I was able to visit other countries, including Germany! Winter was on the mild side though. eh? It was around 2 C the entire time I was there, but it was colder in Norway, like -10 C, and around the same in Switzerland. No big deal. It gets as cold as -40 C in Canada!
