The journey continues!

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit. let's get into the habit!

I am learning to walk in obedience and to put my body under subjection. This is a battle of my will and my surrender. Who will I make Lord in my life? This will be a battle, it will not be easy, I will want to give up, but I must do all things for God!

Unfortunately the public pools close when school begins which is Monday. I tried to tell them there are a lot of homeschool families that would come just because the rest of the kids are NOT coming, but policies are policies.

Thank you for your kind and encouraging comments on my blog today. Jewelry making - especially with recycled copper - is definitely my favorite way of expression. I'm glad you liked the pics of the stuff I've been working on this week.

So far as etching, we've tried 3 different methods so far . . . and I still haven't found what I'm looking for. . . . it seems that we do the same process every time but always get different results.

I'll try to check in with the Jewelry Junkies team . . . I'm trying to spend more time moving than sitting at the bench or in front of the computer. . . .but you know how it is.

Thank you again for your kind words!!!!

Thank you for your comment on my blog. You're right-these things do happen far too often. I'm like the lion...expecting fairness. Have a nice weekend!

Thanks for your comments on my blog. You're always so encouraging.
I'm glad you liked some of my photos.
The mountain is Mt. St. Helens from one of the viewing stations.
A few years ago, a coyote left her pup in our backyard while she went off hunting-or whatever a mama coyote does-all morning long. I was able to get several good pics of the pup--so cute.
The owl is a Barred owl. It is very much like its cousin the spotted owl only it has the bars on its chest instead of spots and it is not endangered. They are very cool with those big black eyes. They're very quiet and the only time I know they're around is by hearing the robins and other birds squawking away without end for fear that the owl will get their young. If you follow the sounds you can usually spot the owl. Often the smaller birds will take turns dive-bombing into the owl, trying to run it off.
I'm so blessed to live in a place with all these beautiful creatures!
I hope this will be a good week for you with lessening pain.
Blessings to you.
